Bin Salman highlighted the importance of prioritizing dialogue and making every effort to contain the escalation, at a time when the confrontation between the United States and Iran dominates the regional scene.
The crown prince noted that a reduction in tensions would pave the way for reaching diplomatic solutions capable of preserving security and stability.
He also warned of the danger of the region being drawn into a wider conflict, the consequences of which would also affect international security and stability.
The conversation took place after Trump announced on Sunday the cancellation of planned attacks on Iran, condition upon the swift conclusion of an agreement.
