In the Nabatieh district, an Israeli drone attacked an uninhabited area located between Jarmaq and Kfar Remman, while artillery shelled the outskirts of Zawtar al-Gharbiya. The attacks also hit the area between the towns of Hadatha and Haris, also in southern Lebanon.
These actions are happening amid the ongoing Israeli escalation against towns in southern Lebanon, despite the agreement reached between Beirut and Tel Aviv for a gradual withdrawal of Israeli forces, as part of a negotiation process sponsored by the United States.
According to Lebanese authorities, the Israeli offensive that began on March 2, 2026, has so far caused 4,352 deaths and 12,318 injuries, in addition to the displacement of over one million people.
Israel continues to occupy areas in southern Lebanon and has expanded its presence in Lebanese territory during the current offensive.
