Marin Rojas’s academic stay in the African nation, which began in 2023, is part of international collaboration agreements between Cuba and Angola.
The Cuban professor covers seven bachelor’s degree programs at ISCED-Bie, and his subjects include Physiology, Biochemistry, Physical and Functional Assessment, and Capstone Projects.
To date, the researcher’s teaching has directly impacted approximately 150 students. The curriculum taught allows for the expansion of knowledge in sciences applied to Physical Culture.
The academician from the “Carlos Rafael Rodriguez” University of Cienfuegos also participates in training processes regarding rehabilitation and movement therapies in specialized classrooms within the Physical Education degree program.
This experience reinforces the Cuban university’s commitment to international academic cooperation. The exchange of knowledge strengthens ties between Cuba and Angola and projects the university’s pedagogical and scientific profile within the Angolan university landscape.
Since the 1980s, the institute has been dedicated to training teachers, school administrators, and other education professionals, in addition to conducting scientific research. The institution offers ten undergraduate programs and five master’s degree programs.
