The Presidential Secretariat of Communication clarified that “the family assets belong to his family and do not form part of the president’s personal assets.”
When Noboa came to power, he declared assets valued at $662,664; by August 2026, the amount had risen to $3,551,110.
This figure represents an increase of $2.89 million and is more than five times the net worth declared at the start of his term.
In September 2025—already serving as president—he had declared $1,618,143; consequently, over the following 11 months, his net worth grew by another $1,932,967, an increase of 119.5 percent.
The main change between the 2025 and 2026 declarations—which were published on the presidency’s website—relates to a property located in the Olon commune in Santa Elena province; it was valued at $1.5 million in 2025 and $3.4 million in 2026.
Funds declared in bank accounts also increased, and by 2026, he had added a stake in Wolkengarten LLC—a company based in the United States—as well as shares in three other companies in Ecuador.
