This is evidenced by a “Special Edition” of the event held online to connect Cuba with the world and finalize business deals, as announced by organizers in the capital.
In mid-September, the Fair’s Organizing Committee announced the launch of the official platform for the 42nd edition of FIHAV 2026, which will take place online from November 24 to 26.
Consequently, they invited domestic and foreign business communities, as well as Cubans living abroad, to register and participate via the website cuba.feriahabana.cu.
In 2026, amidst a complex economic landscape resulting from multidimensional aggression and current challenges, the Organizing Committee is committed to this Special Edition.
It demonstrates that Cuba is not standing still; the country continues to advance its economic and social transformations and is opening its doors—now virtually—to continue doing business.
On the platform, exhibitors will be able to showcase products and services, compete for awards, and participate in the FIHAV 2026 program.
The event will feature thematic areas such as AI, Energy Transition, Tourism, and “Made in Cuba.” There will be a pavilion for stands representing Cuba’s various regions, alongside the customary country-organized pavilions for stands belonging to foreign and Cuban businesspeople.
In-person activities will include the updating of the Portfolio of Business Opportunities with Foreign Capital, a hybrid (in-person and virtual) business matchmaking session, and meetings with businesspeople—both those residing in Cuba and those living abroad—as well as foreign businesspeople currently in the country.
