The court launched “ChatVote” yesterday—a virtual assistant that allows users to ask questions in natural language and receive answers about the election.
According to press reports, this tool is available on the TSE website and via the e-Título app.
The court explained that the system compiles information on services and topics of interest to voters, including voting dates, times, and locations; procedures for justifying an absence from the polls; and guidance for citizens selected to serve as poll workers.
ChatVote also answers frequently asked questions received by the Electoral Court and is available 24 hours a day.
TSE President Justice Kassio Nunes stated that the initiative aims to expand and facilitate voter access to election-related information.
The new development marks the first time the TSE has created its own tool of this kind; while it has used chatbots since the 2020 elections, it had previously relied on external solutions.
By developing the system in-house, the institution gains greater autonomy to manage and update it according to the Electoral Court’s needs and the evolution of the electoral process.
