The AtlasIntel survey, commissioned by Bloomberg, shows a reversal of figures compared to the previous measurement, when the Liberal Party candidate registered 47.2 percent support against the president’s 46.8 percent.
This 0.3 percentage point difference falls within the poll’s margin of error—set at plus or minus one percentage point—indicating a statistical tie, according to media outlets including the *Brasil 247* news portal.
The survey was conducted from September 17 to 22 using random digital recruitment and polled 5,015 voters across the South American giant.
In the prompted first-round scenario, Lula also leads with 45.8 percent of voting intentions, while Flavio Bolsonaro stands at 43.4 percent.
The gap between the two at this stage is now 2.4 percentage points; in the previous poll released on September 17, Lula held 44.1 percent and Flavio 41.7 percent.
