The auditorium of the long-standing Institute of Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery in this capital will host the 4th Cuban Symposium on Heart Failure and the 1st Cuban Symposium on Cardiomyopathies and Rare Cardiac Diseases.
These two scientific symposiums will showcase Cuba’s progress in cardiology to date, including the detection and treatment of rare cardiac diseases.
The two-day event will be held under the slogan: “Diseases do not begin in the hospital; only those who prevent them will achieve success.”
Sponsored by the Cuban Society of Cardiology, the National Center for Medical Genetics, and the Institute itself, the scientific meeting will serve as a forum to share knowledge, present interesting cases, and continue striving for excellence in patient care within this field.
