Ministers, deputy ministers, and other officials from the region’s countries are participating in the event, focused on inclusive innovation and the artificial intelligence (AI) revolution as drivers of productivity.
“Artificial Intelligence and Productivity: Harnessing AI Revolution to Boost Growth in Latin America” will be the first issue in which OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann participates.
“Strengthening Innovation, Technology Diffusion, and Business Dynamism to Boost Productivity, Competitiveness, and Economic Integration: The Role of AI and Industrial and Trade Policies” will also be examined.
“Innovating and Adopting AI Without Leaving Anyone Behind” will be the forum’s third theme, which will include closed-door sessions this afternoon and tomorrow.
Cormann met with President Yamandu Orsi, who praised the forum as a space for debate and cooperation.
