Students from several organizations, the Chilean Teachers’ College, the Central Unitaria de Trabajadores (Unitary Workers’ Union-CUT), and the 8M Feminist Coordinating Committee, among others, will join the rally, organized by the Confederation of Chilean Students (CONFECH).
A march will set off from the Baquedano Metro station, touring along Alameda Avenue to reach the Plaza de los Héroes.
A demonstration in Valparaiso will begin at Plaza Sotomayor, and a gathering in Concepcion is expected outside the Courthouse.
The rallies will extend to at least 15 cities across the country’s south, center, and northern regions, coinciding with the presentation of the 2027 budget bill, which is set to be debated in Congress next week.
