The festival will bring together about 40 artists and musical groups, including Inti Illimani, Ana Tijoux, Mauricio Redoles, Francisco Villa, Claudio Narea, Chinoy, and Tomo como Rey.
Prominent figures from social sciences, journalism, literature, and politics, including four National Award recipients: sociologist Manuel Antonio Garreton, writer Diamela Eltit, and journalists Faride Zeran and Monica Gonzalez, will also attend.
One of the festival’s highlights will be a solidarity concert for Palestine, linked to the broader struggles for human rights and the dignity of peoples.
The event’s program also features talks on democracy and childhood, exhibitions, and tours of the National Stadium memorial site, which served as the largest concentration camp following the 1973 coup d’etat.
