Kobiakov, who also serves as executive secretary of the Roscongress Foundation, told the press that the 12th Eastern Economic Forum would take place on those dates at its usual venue in Vladivostok, with delegates attending from every continent.

  Over the course of its editions, the forum has become a key mechanism for attracting investment, strengthening international cooperation, and devising solutions aimed at the socio-economic development of the Far East, Kobiakov added.

  According to the presidential advisor, the Russian Far East plays an increasingly important role in strengthening Russia’s economic ties with Asia-Pacific nations.

  Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister and Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District, Yuri Trutnev, highlighted the forum’s international scope.

  The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that the event “has become one of the main instruments for the development of the Far East and the country’s northern regions.”

  He noted that, within the framework of the forum, measures such as special incentive regimes, programs to facilitate and ensure continued access to preferential mortgages, urban renewal projects in the Far East and the Arctic, and the free allocation of land under the “Hectare” program were discussed and approved.
