The official stated on the social network X that the city was struck “using missiles manufactured by North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) member countries.”

“It is with deep regret that I must report that the bodies of three people were discovered during debris-clearing operations,” Klychkov, who expressed his condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims, he wrote.

He pledged that all necessary assistance would be provided to the families of the deceased, as well as to others affected by the attack.

The governor added that emergency services are continuing their work to assess and address the aftermath of the attack.
