Devoe noted on his Instagram account that Rodriguez attended the meeting at the Public Prosecutor’s Office accompanied by his team.
The official said the meeting discussed possible lines of cooperation to strengthen “our institutional capacities” for protecting the rights of children and adolescents.
The parties prioritized key areas such as continuing staff training, improving criminal investigation processes for offenses affecting children, strengthening data collection systems, and optimizing the Juvenile Criminal Responsibility System.
As part of the commemorative activities for World Children’s Day and the anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, the representatives agreed to hold a special event this November.
