Turkish President Condemns Murder of Diplomat in Iraq

Turkish media and Iraqi television reported three people killed in a restaurant attack, including the Iraqi deputy consul general.
Erdogan, on Twitter, described the attack as brutal and said that efforts are being made with the Iraqi authorities to catch the attackers as soon as possible.
Ibrahim Kalin, spokesman for the Turkish presidency, and Mustafa Sentop, spokesman for the parliament, said that Ankara will give the right response to those responsible for the cowardly attack.

Ankara, Jul 17 ( Prensa Latina ) Turkey''s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has condemned Wednesday the murder of an official of the country''s Consulate General in northern Iraq and said they are trying to arrest the attackers.
According to the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the attack took place in the city of Erbil, capital of the Kurdish Autonomous Region, and the diplomat was outside the consular section building.
