The Prosecutor's Office accused the secessionist leader of 'consciously and deliberately ignoring' the JEC's mandate to remove the yellow secession ribbons and the remaining 'ideological and party symbols' from Catalonian institutions.
In its accusation, the Public Ministry noted that Torra kept, 'in a covert or symbolic manner,' the signs, images, figures, photos and 'general symbology of the same ideological and party nature.'
It pointed out that the ribbons and the rest of the emblems 'are representative of only a part of society.'
