Beirut, Nov 19 (Prensa Latina) The Lebanese political-military organization Hezbollah denounced today the maneuvers of US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo against Palestine and in favor of Israel.
A press release sent to local media reports that Pompeo works to legitimize the Israeli occupation of usurped Palestinian territory.
Washington's position violates resolutions issued by the UN Security Council, of which the United States is a part, but only in appearance and according to its convenience, the text states.
It is an illegal, illegitimate and invalid policy, according to international standards.
Hezbollah interprets that situation, as well as the positions and steps of the White House, as part of the attempts to liquidate the just right of the Palestinian people to recover their territory.
These steps, the statement adds, do not vary the reality of the illegal occupation of Palestine by the Tel Aviv regime as recognized by the international community.
