A tweet for Cuba, its Revolution and its achievements from Colombia
30 de junio de 2020, 17:28Bogota, Jun 30 (Prensa Latina) Friends of Cuba from Colombia's political, social and congressional organizations expressed on Tuesday on a tweet their support for Cuba's people and its Revolution.
'The Cuban people are a byword for solidarity. Cuba has always worked for the political solution to the armed conflict in Colombia, only those who live from war attack Cuba. While others fill the world with military bases, this nation send doctors. We Are All Cuba,' tweeted the Common Alternative Revolutionary Force (FARC) party.
Meanwhile, Senator Victoria Sandino of that same party, stressed that Cuban people and its government have played a key role in the construction of peace in Colombia.
She noted that Cuba brought medical assistance to countries that needed it long before the Covid-19 pandemic. That is why, We Are All Cuba.
Guillermo Perez thanked Cuba for its efforts to achieve peace in Colombia and for being an example of humanism and solidarity.
With the hashtag #WeAreAllCuba, the Colombian Movement for Solidarity with Cuba promoted this tweet to support the Cuban people and government that are facing a discredit campaign from reactionary sectors settled in the United States.
