Dominican Republic with 821 deaths by Covid-19
Santo Domingo, Jul 7 (Prensa Latina) On Tuesday, the Dominican Republic accumulated 821 deaths from the SARS Cov-2 coronavirus, responsible for Covid-19, after registering 17 deaths on the last day, for a lethality of 2.14 percent.
Also, according to Health Minister Rafael Sanchez, this Tuesday 38,430 people were confirmed with the virus, of which 302 in the past 24 hours; 19,564 were recovered and 132,667 were discarded.
The provinces with the highest number of infections from Covid-19 are Santo Domingo (11,94), the National District (10,429), Santiago (2,848) and San Cristobal (2,140).
In the case of the deceased, the average age is 65 years, 68.41 percent are men, who as a history had chronic diseases of long evolution such as high blood pressure and diabetes.
Of the new deaths, six were in Santo Domingo; three in Monseñor Nouel and San Cristobal and one per capita in San Jose de Ocoa, Puerto Plata, Peravia, Azua and the National District.
