Evo Morales congratulates Argentina on Independence Day
9 de julio de 2020, 17:30Buenos Aires, Jul 9 (Prensa Latina) Former Bolivian President Evo Morales congratulated Argentina on the occasion of the 204th anniversary of the declaration of independence of the South American country.
'Congratulations to the great Argentine people and to brother President Alberto Fernandez on the Independence Day of this beautiful and brave homeland, which is dealing with hard moments with a moving strength and great solidarity without giving up their dreams,' Morales live-tweeted.
The former Bolivian president lives in this capital as a refugee after the November 2019 coup forced him to resign as a result of a preliminary report issued by the Organization of American States (OAS) that described the process as fraudulent.
For the 204 years of Argentina's Declaration of Independence, President Fernandez addressed the entire country from Quinta de Olivos with a message of unity to overcome this hard time and rebuild this country afresh.
The Argentine president urged to work together, leaving hatred aside, and build a federal country in which each Argentine can develop in the place where he/she was born and grew up.
