Presidential candidate Arce promises to create new jobs in energy
La Paz, Sep 29 (Prensa Latina) Bolivia's presidential candidate for the Movement Towards Socialism (MAS), Luis Arce, promised on Tuesday to create 130,000 jobs by 2025 in the energy sector.
With the industrialization of lithium, energy service companies will be created boosting the generation of 130,000 direct and indirect jobs until 2025, explained Bolivia's former minister of economy in Morales government.
On his official Twitter account, Arce noted that 'we will transform Bolivia with great projects to benefit the people.'
Arce leads the polls for the general elections on October 18 and if he wins, he will give continuity to the MAS' work, which during Morales' term, from 2006 to 2019, reached the highest development standards of the country's history.
Morales is currently a refugee in Argentina, after the coup to his government in November 2019.
Since the onset of the de facto government in the country, headed by Jeanine Añez, poverty and unemployment rates have skyrocketed and uncertainty has taken over the national scene.
