Cuba's government follows up on prioritized programs
Havana, Oct 21 (Prensa Latina) Cuba's government is currently following up on actions in prioritized programs such as local development, the plan to combat climate change, known as Life Task, and the preservation of historic memory.
Cuba's Prime Minister Manuel Marrero tweeted that the government reviewed the status of the elaboration of a decree to boost local development during the working sessions.
In that sense, he referred to the need to strengthen cooperation and complementarity for territorial development, as well as to identify priorities in the strategy for 2030.
On Twitter, Marrero also pointed out that the Life Task continues to be a priority, and said that proposals to bolster sustainable tourism were analyzed.
Regarding the Historic Memory Program, the PM set out the urgency of implementing actions to mitigate the damage to the documentary and cultural heritage of Cuba.
Similarly, the government authorities analyzed the progress of high performance processes, education, recreation, community physical activity and baseball, Cuba's national sport.
