Moscow, Nov 25 (Prensa Latina) Some 507 patients died in a day in Russia from the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, causing the Covid-19 pandemic, a new maximum figure since March, totaling 37,538 deaths to date, Moscow television informed on Wednesday. For the first time, the country surpassed 500 deaths in a day and the lethality rate rose to 1.74%, according to the operational staff to fight this disease.
Russia accumulates 2,162,503 cases since the pandemic emerged, after 23,675 infections were detected in the last 24 hours. Daily infection growth rate fell to 1.1%, while the total figure of active patients fell to 464,546.
Some 25,748 patients were discharged from hospitals in a day, exceeding the figure of new cases, totaling 1,660,419 recoveries to date. The national recovery rate is 76.8%.
