López Obrador stated that the INE went too far in its powers, by including a catalog of issues and even words that cannot be part of president's statements in his morning conferences.
He denounced that Lorenzo Córdova, president of the General Council, and Ciro Murayama, counselor and president of the Complaints Commission, do not necessarily act as impartial arbitrators, but rather distinguished by their differences with López Obrador.

Mexico, Jan 19 (Prensa Latina) The MORENA party, founded by Mexican President Andrés Manuel Lopez Obrador, challenged a decision by the National Electoral Institute (INE) that decries president's press conferences.
MORENA will lodge an appeal against the INE's decision that bans López Obrador from referring to the ongoing electoral process.
