Tehran, Jan 20 (Prensa Latina) Iranian President Hassan Rouhani today reiterated the complete failure of the policy of maximum pressure against Tehran by US President Donald Trump. 'Trump's political race ends today and his position of maximum pressure against Iran completely failed,' Rouhani indicated during a meeting with his Cabinet.
In the opinion of the Iranian head of state, this is the end today of the black period of the disastrous presidency of the US real estate tycoon.
Trump's decisions isolated Washington globally and caused total division within his country, and as a result in the last days of his mandate, Washington D.C. is a military base because of a bipolarization that emerged in that society, he said.

In May 2018, Trump ordered his country's withdrawal from this multilateral treaty, and in view of the Europeans passivity in keeping the convention alive, the Islamic Republic reduced its nuclear commitments, under Articles 26 and 36 of the nuclear deal.
Iranian authorities say that if all parties return to the original agreement, the Persian country will return to what was previously signed.
