Moscow, Jan 20 (Prensa Latina) Security forces on Wednesday annihilated Aslan Biutukaev's terrorist gang in the Russian Republic of Chechnya, said the main leader of that region, Ramzan Kadirov, who was quoted by Moscow television.
The group led by Biutukaev was responsible for a dynamite attack on the airport of Domodedovo in January 2011. Three of the extremists killed, including the aforementioned leader, have already been identified.
Kadyrov assured that he himself took part in the planning of operations against the group led by Biutukaev, who was considered the new top leader of extremist gangs in the North Caucasus.
President Vladimir Putin was informed about the anti-terrorist action all the time, and he introduced corrective measures and demanded maximum professionalism to prevent losses among the Government forces, the Chechen leader explained.
Previously, the said group managed to escape on two occasions and avoid the armed clash with authorities of the North Caucasian republic, he pointed out.
In this regard, Kadyrov made it clear that the special destination troops of the Chechen Interior Ministry were in charge of eliminating the six-member gang.
