Russia denounces NATO forces approaching its borders
Moscow, Apr 13 (Prensa Latina) Russia's Minister of Defense Serguei Shoigu denounced on Tuesday that the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) will concentrate 40,000 military and 15,000 units of weapons and equipment near the country's borders.
The Army general noted that the main potential combat is located in the Black Sea and the Baltic region, TASS news agency reported.
He said that US troops are currently being moved from the continental parts of North America across the Atlantic to Europe.
'There is a movement of troops in Europe toward the Russian borders. The main forces are concentrated in the Black Sea and the Baltic region,' the Russian defense official underscored.
He further highlighted that in Poland and the Baltic countries, US troop groupings are being strengthened.
Shoigu warned that the intensity of air reconnaissance doubled compared to 2020, and the frequency of naval reconnaissance increased by half.
