New Israeli massacre in Palestinian occupied territory denounced
Ramallah, May 15 (Prensa Latina) The Presidency of the Palestinian government has deplored on Saturday the slaughter of an entire family, including eight children, in the occupied Gaza Strip, as a result of an Israeli aerial bombardment.
In an official statement released by the Wafa News Agency, the Palestinian authority underlines that the new massacre, like previous ones, is a consequence of the war that Tel Aviv unleashed against the Palestinian people 73 years ago.
It also reaffirmed the need for the international community, headed by the United Nations Security Council, to stop the Israeli aggression and thus protect the people of this Arab nation.
It also called for an end to the Israeli occupation and the implementation of the resolutions of international law, while maintaining that there will be no peace and security for anyone without an independent Palestinian state, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
According to Palestinian authorities, since last Monday until this Saturday, at least 139 Arab citizens have been killed, among them 33 children, and more than 950 were wounded as a result of bomb attacks by the armed forces of the Hebrew state.
According to various sources, the conflict between Israel and Palestine was fueled after Tel Aviv police brutally repressed demonstrators fwho were trying to reach the so-called Esplanade of the Mosques in East Jerusalem, a territory occupied by Israel since 1967.
