Mexico and Bolivia also participate in the fair, which also welcomes 62,000 participants (businessmen, buyers, specialists and others) from 100 nations of the world, in one of the largest exhibiting events in this capital.
In this sense, the Bolivian company Andean Valley stands out, whose owner, Javier Fernández, explained to Prensa Latina that it is dedicated to producing, processing and exporting quinoa to different countries around the world.

Quinoa is a grain of the Andes and is produced in several countries in that area, and in the case of Bolivia we have quinoa real, an endemic variety of the southern highlands, in the Andean part, he said.
It is a grain with very high nutritional values. It is in great demand in various parts of the world and we are looking here in Russia for businessmen who can distribute our product in order to market it in this market, said Fernández.
Two years ago I was in Russia and we had good results and we want to
find a distributor who can buy the entire production line, specified the entrepreneur.

Now exported 2,500 tons of quinoa grain and about 1,500 tons of value-added products, based on quinoa, he said.
We are dedicated to seeking new markets and alternatives and Russia is a country that is increasingly demanding healthy and highly nutritious products, noted Fernandez.
We are already present in Europe, in Latin America, in the United States, but now we see with very good opportunity the Russian market that demands this type of products, he said.
