Cuba prioritizes investments despite tightened blockade

This was reported during a meeting led by President Miguel Diaz-Canel to assess the progress of the construction, repair and maintenance of roads in Cuba.
The Cuban head of State stated that this is a program which has been negatively affected this year, mainly due to the financial situation and the availability of fuel, associated with the tightening of the US economic, commercial and financial blockade, as Granma reported.
On this issue, the president urged not to be discouraged and to continue making progress in the search for local solutions to improve road infrastructure.
