Prince Charles of England tests positive for Covid-19
London, Mar 25 (Prensa Latina) Prince Charles, heir to the British throne, has tested positive for the coronavirus, SARS-Cov-2, he has been displaying mild symptoms, and remains in good health, a royal source reported on Wednesday.
According to the statement released by Clarence House, the official residence of Charles and his wife Camila, the Duchess of Cornwall has also been tested but does not have the virus.
The text states that not only the 71-year-old Prince of Wales but also Camila are now self-isolating at Balmoral Palace, in Scotland, and the way how he was infected with the new coronavirus is still unknown.
Queen Elizabeth II, 93, and her husband Philip (98) left Buckingham Palace last week, and took refuge in Windsor, after sending a message of encourage to UK citizens, where about 422 people have died and more than 8,000 have been infected so far by coronavirus.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Monday decreed strong containment measures for the population, in an attempt to stop the spread of the pandemic.
