Vietnam maintains its magnificent statistics against Covid-19
Hanoi, Jul 5 (Prensa Latina) Although there are still 15 active cases of Covid-19 in Vietnam, the country maintains an impeccable performance against the disease, especially not having human losses to regret, and today marks the 80th day without indigenous cases.
Since the outbreak of SARS-CoV-2 in the country at the beginning of the year, Vietnam has only registered 355 infested, of which 340 were discharged.
None of those still hospitalized are in danger of death and three tested twice for the virus, so the number of those recovered should increase in the coming days.
One of those in full recovery is the famous Patient 91, a British citizen who has been on the verge of death since his hospitalization mid-March.
The man, a 43-year-old Scottish pilot hired by Vietnam Airlines, tested negative to the virus several times and almost completely recovered his vital functions. He is currently undergoing full rehabilitation and will likely return to his country on July 12th, accompanied by Vietnamese doctors.
That the number of people suffering from severe acute respiratory syndrome is no longer at zero is due to the fact that thousands of nationals trapped by the pandemic in territories where the epidemiological situation is complicated were repatriated in the last two and a half months, and the operation is still ongoing.
