Tunisia and Iran strengthen bilateral relations
7 de julio de 2020, 15:30Tunisia, Jul 7 (Prensa Latina) Iran and Tunisia reaffirmed on Monday the need to further improve cooperation between the two nations, official sources confirmed on Tuesday.
Iran's ambassador to Tunisia Mohammadreza Raouf Sheibani and Tunisia's Trade Minister Mohamed Msilini discussed ways of expanding relations between the two countries during a bilateral meeting.
Msilini called for a higher level of trade relations, noting additional efforts for regular consultations by Iran's and Tunisia's officials, diplomatic sources assured.
Meanwhile, Raouf Sheibani urged to broaden cooperation and regular meetings of economic operators in Iran and Tunisia.
The ambassador also proposed that the commerce chambers of the two countries hold a series of meetings virtually so as not to lose the link during the Covid-19 pandemic.
