8 de julio de 2020, 16:6Caracas, Jul 8 (Prensa Latina) Venezuela's President Nicolas Maduro highlighted on Wednesday that the country has an articulated plan of action to fight against Covid-19 and urged the people to maintain discipline to contain the spread of SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.
On Twitter, the president noted that the Bolivarian nation has great scientific and hospital capacity, with 14,000 medical brigades, as well as treatments and due controls that protect health.
In the face of the health crisis caused by the novel SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, the Venezuelan government is emphatic in complying with biosecurity measures and the collective quarantine to cut the chains of transmission of the disease.
Up to date, Venezuela registers 7,693 Covid-19 cases, after detecting another 282 afflicted on Tuesday, of which 239 were by community transmission and 43 of repatriated migrants.
During the past weeks, the Venezuelan government warned of a peak in community cases, derived from individuals who violated the activated health cordon at the borders, when entering the country through illegal steps.
In this sense, the authorities insist on the importance of extreme prevention measures, as well as assisting healthcare services when perceiving the first symptoms of Covid-19.
