Evo Morales denounces campaign against MAS in Bolivia
8 de julio de 2020, 16:28Buenos Aires, Jul 8 (Prensa Latina) Former President Evo Morales reiterated on Wednesday his complaint against the campaign that seeks to disable the Movement Towards Socialism (MAS) and its candidates for the next general elections in Bolivia.
On Twitter, the former president recalled that the candidate for the presidency by that political force, Luis Arce, was the victim of false complaints by the de facto government, and days later, Morales was also accused of alleged terrorism.
The former head of State described as 'illegal and fake' the accusation by which coupmongers intend to prosecute him on the basis of an adulterated audio, in which the indigenous leader would call to block cities.
From the judicial point of view, the lawyer of the former president, Gustavo Ferreyra, indicated that an audio is not enough to carry out any process.
Ferreyra added that his client, in Argentina as a refugee, did not receive an official statement regarding the process that Bolivia's Public Ministry is trying to carry out.
