Venezuela publishes agenda on human trafficking
Caracas, Jul 9 (Prensa Latina) On occasion of World Day Against Human Trafficking, Venezuela publishes on digital platforms Thursday an agenda in order to raise awareness of the implications of this crime for its victims.
Until July 30, in which the day will be commemorated, the National Office against Organized Crime and Financial Terrorism shows online national and international papers about the issue that can be viewed and consulted by Internet users, Alfredo Jose Gonzalez, head of that entity, said.
According to the official, the new virtual experience not only allows us to offer preventive guidelines, but also contributes to train professionals committed to this fight.
Gonzalez stressed that Venezuela is currently working on the draft of the Law Concerning Human Trafficking, and for which technical commissions, consisting of members of the Attorney General of the Republic, auxiliary bodies of that judicial entity, Non-Governmental Organizations and Ombudsman, are held.
