Dom. Rep. to host Virtual Summit on Social Inclusion
Santo Domingo, jul 10 (Prensa Latina) Foreign Minister Miguel Vargas announced that the Dominican Republic will host
the Virtual Ministerial Summit on Social Inclusion for Latin America and the Caribbean in times of Covid-19, to be held next July.
According to a press release from the Foreign Ministry, the event (Informality and Social Inclusion in Times of Covid-19) will be held from July 13 to 17 and there will be public sessions through YouTube and OECD-TV.

The organizers specified that on Tuesday 14th there will be no activities, but on July 15, 16 and 17 there will be closed ministerial and specific sessions only for accredited delegations.
The summit will bring together ministers and senior officials in the work, planning, economy, and social development spheres of the Latin American and Caribbean countries members of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, as well as representatives of international and civil society organizations.
