Scope of request of Nobel Prize for Cuban doctors highlighted
Paris, Jul 18 (Prensa Latina) The request in favor of the delivery of the Nobel Peace Prize to Cuban doctors who support the fight against Covid-19 has reached global dimensions, as French Rose-Marie Lou highlighted.
The solidarity activist and member of the Cuba-Linda association pointed out in statements to Prensa Latina that the platform launched in France already has more than 180 organizations from 25 countries, as well as a number of personalities, united in the request of the Nobel Prize for the Henry Reeve Brigades.
The initiative has spread all around the world, perhaps a map would have to be drawn up, and surely there would be very few areas from which no ideas have come up to support it, one of the promoters of the recognition said.
According to Lou, this is a campaign impossible to stop, despite the actions of the United States to denigrate Cuban medical cooperation and its pressure directed at governments, in order not to request the help of Cuban health professionals.
They can do whatever they want, fewer and fewer are paying attention to Washington and more are asking or celebrating Cuba's contribution, she stressed.
For the political leader of Cuba-Linda, one of the French associations that activated the platform to demand the Nobel Peace Prize in late April, even though the U.S. crusade fails in the face of Cuba's solidarity, its hostility still must be denounced.
