Venezuelan Salomón Rondón motivated by China's soccer debut
Beijing, Jul 25 (Prensa Latina) Venezuelan striker Salomón Rondón said he was motivated to debut in the Chinese soccer league that began this Saturday after the country improved from the Covid-19.
'It has been a long wait, with a lot of dedication necessary to stay at a good level and be ready for the return, but I get to this beginning with great desire and prepared to continue achieving goals and achievements,' the player told reporters.
30-year-old Rondón is a member of the Dalian Yifang Pro club led by former Real Madrid coach Rafa Benítez and who was already his coach in the 2018 season when he played for Newcastle in the English League.
'I finished the previous season with great feelings, added Rondón, because since I arrived I was able to adapt well to the team, the league and score goals, which is the most important thing.
'All the preparation in these months has been with the desire to continue in that line, enjoying, helping the team to continue growing, always scoring, which is the goal of any striker,' he said.
