Syria's health experts register 738 Covid-19 cases so far
Damascus, Jul 30 (Prensa Latina) Syria's Ministry of Health registered on Thursday 21 new Covid-19 cases and one death from the disease, accumulating 738 afflicted and 41 deaths so far.
The trend in the last two weeks maintains an average of about twenty Covid-19 patients, in the face of such situation the health authorities called for extreme precautions and preventive measures to fight against SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.
In sum, the number of recoveries from Covid-19 rose to 229 since the first case was detected in the country on March 22, and from that date up to now, the closure of borders and the suspension of classes at the primary and secondary levels continue.
Authorities also decreed the suspensions of public activities for the Muslim Day of Sacrifice or Eid Al Adha, which starts tomorrow Friday and finishes on Monday.
