Cuba: Islazul hotel chain turns 26 years
Havana, Aug 1 (Prensa Latina) Cuba's Islazul hotel chain is celebrating its 26th anniversaty on Saturday, amid the Covid-19 pandemic, but it continues with its recovery plans.
Islazul authorities confirmed the remodeling work of some establishments and present capacities by national tourists.
The year of 2019 was very tough for Cuban companies and managers. Isalzul has 117 hotels (9,773 rooms) nationwide.
Islazul extends nationwide, with even a couple of hotels in the easternmost region of Cuba, in Punta de Maisi (Villa Maisí and Villa Faro de Maisí).
In Vuelta Abajo, in western Pinar del Rio province, Islazul runs some other hotels, in addition to 887 private houses in Havana, Varadero, Cayo Coco, Cayo Guillermo and Santa Lucia.
