Six children die in Burkina Faso from improvised explosive device
Ouagadougou, Aug 2 (Prensa Latina) The explosion of an improvised explosive device in the Tangaye village on Saturday killed six minors who had taken cattle out to pasture, media reports in the capital reported.
The informants refrained from identifying the perpetrators of the attack, but this is supposed to be the work of one of the Islamist armed groups that increased their actions months ago in the northern region of this impoverished country in West Africa.
The report adds that four other minors were injured by the explosion of the device, whose characteristics are similar to those used in the group's attacks against military patrols.
