La Paz, Aug 20 (Prensa Latina) Bolivia's de facto government denied on Thursday guarantees to former officials of the Movement Towards Socialism (MAS) asylum-seekers at the Mexican Embassy here after the coup against President Evo Morales in 2019.
The Deputy Minister of Government Coordination Israel Alanoca told the local radio station Radio Fides that the bill approved by lawmakers on Wednesday requesting authorization lacks legal effect and is not binding on the Executive branch.
