Moscow, Sep 14 (Prensa Latina) Russia registered today 1.068.320 positive cases of coronavirus SARS CoV-2, which caused the Covid-19 pandemic, after detecting 5.509 new infections in one day, reported the television in this capital.
In this way, the number of daily cases was the highest since last July 30th and exceeded the 5,000 infected for eleventh consecutive day, after being below that level since August 15th, reported the operational staff for the fight against Covid-19.
A total of 40. 900 000 diagnostic tests of the mentioned disease were carried out since last March.
Now, 219, 016 people remain under observation, while only 279,000 tests were carried out in the last 24 hours to detect the aforementioned disease.
Two thousand 475 patients were clinically discharged from the two hospitals in a single day, for a total of 878 thousand 700 medical discharges.
With this, the national recovery rate is 82.2 percent.
In addition, the death toll rose to 18,700, after 57 deaths were reported in one day, including 11 in the capital, six in Nizhegorod region, five in Moscow and four in Krasnodar region.
This city registered 824 patients who overcome the disease, for a volume of 230,397, while there were 696 cases in one day, for an accumulated of 271,793. Thus, the recovery rate here rose to 84.76 percent.
Also, 155 patients were discharged from hospitals in Moscow, 108 in Bashkortostan Republic, 100 in St.-Petersburg and 98 in Kemerovo.
Covid-19 added 199 new cases in St. Petersburg, 163 in Moscow region, 160 in Rostov and 147 in Nizhegorod.
