Kenya registers 48 new Covid-19 cases
14 de septiembre de 2020, 17:29Nairobi, Sep 14 (Prensa Latina) Kenya registered on Monday 48 new Covid-19 cases, a figure that health authorities deem one of the lowest reported in the country in recent months.
After stating that with those latest infections in the national territory there are 36,205 Covid-19 afflicted, the official of the Ministry of Health Mercy Mwangangi, pointed out that the death toll increased to 624 after recording another two deaths on Monday.
Among the counties with the highest number of Covid-19 cases in the most recent hours are: Mombasa (20 cases), Nairobi (15) and Tharaka Nithi (four), referred the Ministry.
Mwangangi also detailed that there were another 176 recoveries, amounting to 23,243 since March.
Despite the fact that in social networks Internet users considered regarding the pandemic that the contagion curve is flattened in Kenya, the representative of the Health agency asked the population to comply with the protection measures implemented, including the use of facemasks to avoid outbreaks of the novel coronavirus.
