Mexico repeats stance in favor of universalization of vaccines
Mexico, Sep 16 (Prensa Latina) Mexico's stance regarding Covid-19 is to guarantee universal access to vaccines, medications, treatments and medical supplies, and contain the pure market trends, Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard said in a press released on Wednesday.
The Secretariat of Foreign Affairs issued a communiqué about a meeting between Ebrard and a dozen Mexican ambassadors and consuls, at which he noted that Mexico trusts itself very much, because we can have a greater presence in the world as a result of solidarity, strength and the vigor of national culture.
The press release noted that along with its embassies abroad, the Secretariat of Foreign Affairs will continue to promote actions and initiatives to consolidate this presence and accompany the Mexican cities affected by the health crisis.
During the meeting, aimed at reaffirming the commitment of the Secretariat and diplomatic missions to the communities of Mexican residents abroad, the ambassadors and consuls made emphasis on the importance of improving and make progress in the use and learning of digital tools to strengthen unity.
