Jordan urges respect for Palestinian rights
Amman, Sep 18 (Prensa Latina) Jordan's Prime Minister Omar Razzaz reiterated that no just peace will be possible in the Middle East without the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, Jordan News Agency (Petra) reported on Friday.
As long as Israel continues to act unilaterally, there will be no comprehensive peace and stability in the region, Razzaz said.
Tel Aviv's measures undermine the rights of the Palestinian people to establish an independent state on their homeland, with Jerusalem as its capital, he said.
Razzaz indicated that Jordan is ready to unify a position with other Arab countries to face regional challenges.
In 2020, the siege to the Palestinian people included the so-called 'Deal of the Century', presented by the United States, the Israeli plan to annex a third of the occupied West Bank and the recent agreements to normalize relations among the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Israel, mediated by Washington.
