Terrorists plan fake flag chemical attack in Syria
Damascus, Sept 20 (Prensa Latina) Terrorist groups are preparing a new chemical weapons provocation in Syria in order to blame the army of this Arab country and Russian forces for such false action, local activists told Prensa Latina.
The terrorist group Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS or the 'Organization for the Liberation of the Levant'), formerly the Al-Nousra Front, and representatives of the so-called White Helmets are conniving, in cooperation with Turkish intelligence, to carry out chemical attacks in the cities of Ariha and Besamis in the northern province of Idlib, the sources that requested anonymity affirmed.
HTS and White Helmets also staged a false flag chemical attack in Idleb in 2017.
They added that teams specialized in setting up scenery of the White Helmets arrived at the place where the attack is being prepared to film and then broadcast in media hostile to Syria in order to stir up public opinion against the government of the Arab nation.
'In the action, children who had previously been kidnapped in Syria will be used,' they said.
The sources assured that the terrorists and their sponsors intend to create a pretext to accuse Damascus and Moscow of violating international law and to set conditions for a desired change of government in Syria and the withdrawal of Russian forces.
Several false flag chemical attackes were perpetrated in Syria, such as the one in Eastern Ghouta near Damascus in 2013 and 2018 and in Idlib in 2017, while the Syrian government accused foreign powers of perpetrating them to find pretexts to launch new aggression against this Arab nation.
