Bolivia's de facto president completes ministerial cabinet
29 de septiembre de 2020, 14:20La Paz, Sep 29 (Prensa Latina) Bolivia's de facto president, Jeanine Añez, on Tuesday completed her ministerial cabinet after a political crisis a few days before general elections.
On Tuesday morning, Añez appointed Adhemar Guzman the new minister of Productive Development and Plural Economy, with the mission of creating jobs, she said.
The new crisis in the government took place after the resignation of Economy Minister Oscar Ortiz, who denounced internal disputes in the executive.
The ministers of Labor, Oscar Mercado, and Productive Development, Jose Abel Martinez, tendered their 'irrevocable resignations' on Monday.
Amid the crisis, the president named Branko Marinkovic the new minister of Economy, while Gonzalo Quiroga was appointed minister of Planning of Development, and Alvaro Tejerina is the new minister of Labor.
