MAS in Bolivia to close electoral campaign in Sacaba and Senkata
La Paz, Oct 9 (Prensa Latina) The Movement Towards Socialism (MAS) plans to close its electoral campaign in Sacaba (Cochabamba) and Senkata (El Alto), places where massacres occurred after the coup d'Etat against former Bolivian President Evo Morales and continue to be unpunished at present.
MAS departmental chief Rimer Agreda confirmed that an act will be held in Sacaba (Cochabamba) on October 13 and the presidential formula of Luis Arce and David Choquehuanca will be in Senkata (El Alto) on October 14, while similar events are held in the rest of the country.
The events documented by the observation mission of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights deployed in Bolivia were classified as serious human rights violations.
